Meet The Owners:
Jack & Jake
Jake Hershberger has been in construction for over 20 years. He started shingling houses at 17 years old after parting ways with his Amish roots.
Since then, he’s learned all different kinds of carpentry from building decks, to framing houses, and even opening his own furniture store. Through it all, he learned his true passion was in custom construction. When he met Jack’s dad, Mike, they quickly became good friends. He admired how Mike cared for his subcontractors, how he would become friends with the new homeowners after the build. When Jack started working with them too, that’s when they truly became like family.
Jack Hartert practically grew up on job sites. He learned the value of hard work and clear communication from his father, Mike Hartert, a contractor for over 30 years.
At 18, he joined Jake‘s crew, and they have worked with each other ever since. He credits Jake for teaching him everything he knows about carpentry, and firmly believes Jake is capable of building anything he puts his mind to.
Together, they’re excited to uphold their legacy of quality work and care to help more customers build their forever home.
